Membership Support

The Greater Good Hart Association is always welcoming new members.  A common question those interested in membership ask is what will be gained by such membership.

To that question, there is one primary answer.  The main benefit of joining the GGA is to be part of a common voice when issues affecting our community come before us.  The strength in our voice as an organization is only as strong as our membership number and the greater the number of members; the stronger our voice will be heard.

Beautification Project Request

The Beautification Committee is looking for volunteers to help with their various projects.  For a list of gardening dates (typically the first Tuesday of each month) and for further information, please call Marge Edwards-Becker at 231-526-7520.  Thanks to everyone who has helped in the past!

RFC Mini-Fair Scheduled for July 22, 2007

Residents of Readmond, Friendship and Cross Village Townships are fortunate to have a full team of skilled and dedicated firefighters and first responders.  We are fortunate to now have the luxury and peace of mind knowing that, should an emergency arise, help is but a short distance away. To ensure that this protection continues at a level necessary to meet the needs of our communities, we need to offer our support to this invaluable team of individuals.

Each year the money earned from the July Mini-Fair in Good Hart supplements the resources needed for equipment, training and expenses not covered by the tax millage. Attendees of this year’s Mini-Fair will be excited to see the return of the silent auction! RFC Fire Rescue is asking for the help of all community members in order to assure that this event is a total success.  Your support is critical in many different ways.  Please take a moment and think of any items or services that you have the ability to donate to the silent auction.  Past items have included handmade quilts, crafts, artwork, sporting event tickets and memorabilia, golf and dining certificates, and vacation packages. Please talk with friends and business contacts to see what they may be able to contribute to support these dedicated men and women.

Most importantly, please come and attend this family oriented event and bring your friends and neighbors.  Working together as a community we can truly make this year’s fair the most successful one to date!

Please contact Al Dicken at 231-526-7061, with your questions or to arrange drop-off of items for the silent auction.  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance for your time and your attention to this worthy project.
