Request for Board Volunteers
The Greater Good Hart Association is currently wishing to add Board members and committee members.  Please contact the association should you be interested in volunteering or being involved.

Movement to Relocate Recycling Collection Bins to Robinson Road
A GGA member is currently attempting to seek permission to relocate the Emmet County Recycling Bins from the current location on Wormwood Lane, to Robinson Road for greater access by neighbors and residents of the immediate Good Hart community.  Currently the Wormwood Lane collection site is the lowest use drop site in Emmet County according to ECR.  Those either in favor or against this move may email mail@greatergoodhart.com directly with their input on the matter and we will compile information for a later discussion with the township.  Currently, residents of Good Hart must take recyclables to either the CV, Wormwood, Jurek’s, or Harbor/Pleasantview locations as there is nothing closer.

Avian Botulism Reports
Anyone finding dead birds on their beach area should report the findings to the Tip of the Mitt Watershed council in Petoskey.  As of September, birds have been reported south of St. Ignatius Church in Good Hart as well as near Sturgeon Bay Shores in Cross Village.  Please continue to report these sightings.

Inquiries About Pavement Concerns on Robinson Road
Several neighbors have inquired about the dire pavement situation on Robinson Road between M-119 and State.  To voice your concern to the Readmond Township Board, please email the association at mail@greatergoodhart.com and we will be happy to forward your letter directly to the township for discussion.  Please direct emails/attachments to Gordon Kruskie, Readmond Township Supervisor.
